This policy explains how NeueClaw (operated by NeueStudio Pty Ltd, ABN 27 674 970 506) collects, uses, and protects your personal information. We take your privacy seriously and handle your data with care.

1. What we collect

When you book a call or use our services, we may collect:

Your name and email address
Your phone number (if provided)
Information you share in intake forms (tools you use, how you'd like your assistant to help)
Payment information (processed securely by Stripe - we don't store card details)
Your Telegram username (for assistant setup)
Voice notes you record during onboarding

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

Set up and configure your AI assistant
Provide managed hosting, maintenance, and support
Process payments and manage your subscription
Send you service-related communications (setup instructions, updates, check-ins)
Improve our service based on how clients use their assistants

We don't use your information for marketing unless you've opted in, and we never sell your data to anyone.

3. Third-party services

To deliver our service, we use the following third-party tools:

Acuity Scheduling - for booking calls and collecting intake information
Stripe - for processing payments securely
Anthropic - provides the AI models your assistant runs on (you create your own account and API key with Anthropic directly)
Hetzner - server hosting provider where your assistant runs
Vercel - hosts this website

Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them if you have concerns about how they handle data.

4. Your assistant's data

Your AI assistant runs on a dedicated server. The data on that server - including your assistant's memory, configuration, and workspace files - belongs to you. We maintain access to the server for maintenance and support purposes only.

We don't read your messages, monitor your conversations, or access your connected accounts (email, calendar, etc.) unless you explicitly ask us to during troubleshooting or an implementation session.

Conversations between you and your assistant are processed by Anthropic's API. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their own privacy policy and terms of use.

5. Data retention

We keep your personal information for as long as you're an active client. If you cancel your service:

We can export your workspace files on request before decommissioning your server
Your server data is deleted when the server is decommissioned
We retain basic records (name, email, payment history) for accounting and legal purposes as required by Australian law

6. Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Your server is secured with SSH key authentication, firewall rules, and regular security updates. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our systems.

That said, no system is completely secure. If you work with highly sensitive or regulated information, please discuss this with us before setup so we can advise on what's appropriate.

7. Your rights

Under Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Request corrections to your information
Ask us to delete your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time

8. Cookies and analytics

This website doesn't currently use cookies or analytics tracking. If we add analytics in the future, we'll update this policy and let you know.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let active clients know via email.
